In this session, we will provide a more detailed overview of the Student Employment Program and what students can expect as they begin working on campus. Topics will include the connection between Student Employment and Student Financial Services (SFS), an explanation of work-study, including what eligibility means and how work-study impacts financial aid, as well as how many hours students are permitted to work and how earnings are monitored throughout the academic year. We will also review the required employment documents needed before beginning work and provide guidance on what to expect at student employment job fairs, including tips for connecting with hiring departments. Finally, students will learn how to navigate Workday, search and apply for on-campus positions, and manage important employment tasks within the system.
